General Dentistry, Implantologist
Dr. Shan Khan, is a United States graduate dentist who focuses in dental implantology and full mouth reconstruction.
He completed his doctor of dental medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2020. He then went on to further his education and enhance his surgical skills in implantology by completing a one year residency at the Ozark VA Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Currently, Dr. Khan works as a clinical director in a private practice in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Khan moved to New York in 2021, excited to take on the Big Apple. With his strong passion and love for dentistry, he focuses his work on full mouth rehab for patients in dire need. He has spent the last three and a half years dedicating his time to continue to evolve in his career by completing 800+ continued education hours in implant dentistry. He is currently in the process of completing his credentials as a Fellow in American Academy of Implant Dentistry and American Board of Oral Implantology in Implant Dentistry, FAAID and ABOI/ID, respectively.
He hopes to complete those credentials by the end of 2025. While there have been many hurdles along the way, Dr. Khan never shies away from a challenge. His desire to provide the best treatment for his patients by using the cutting edge technology supersedes the challenge along the way. In the last 3 years he has spent countless hours learning and transforming his dental practice into a state of the art fully digital practice with an in-house lab. This allows him to provide same day, affordable dentistry to his patients.
Dr. Khan loves his patients and treats them with respect and the care they deserve. His patients love seeing him and love his sense of humor as they are often found laughing with each other. He always says that his patients are part of his family and he does all this to bring a smile to their face.

John Sabat, DMD, is a general and cosmetic dentist practicing in Totowa, New Jersey. Born and Raised in Northern New Jersey.
Dr. Sabat graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology with a concentration in physiology and a minor in Psychology. He then started a master’s in Biomedical Science at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Inspired by his childhood dentist, he knew that dentistry was his calling. He pursued his DMD degree from Midwestern University where he was involved in several public health organizations that helped in providing dental health to the inner cities of Chicago.
Upon completing his doctorate in dentistry, Dr. Sabat was accepted to the prestigious Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for a 1 year General Practice Residency. During this time Dr. Sabat provided care for the underserved communities of Newark, New Jersey. While in residency Dr. Sabat traveled to Guatemala as part of the Friends of San Lucas mission trip before joining the East Madison Dental Team.
Dr. Sabat enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Jessica – a dental hygienist, playing guitar, listening to music, traveling, food, movies, and watching his New York Jets, New York Knicks, New York Yankees, and New Jersey Devils.

By far, the most advances in the dental field today involve implants. With success rates in certain situations of almost 100% and with over 25 years of service in most patients, it may be a procedure that needs to be performed only once in a patient’s life. In many situations, a tooth or teeth can be replaced permanently, esthetically and functionally superior to the natural tooth.
Also called same-day implants or Teeth in a Day, immediate load dental implants allow placement of a temporary tooth during the same appointment as your dental implant placement.
Dr. Vibert is a member of the Academy of Oral Implantology, and have successfully placed and restored implants for over 15 years.
Implants have a titanium root that is placed into the jaw where it fuses with the bone. Replacement of a missing tooth does not require removal of healthy tooth material from other teeth, nor the placement of removable pieces. Dental implants are do-overs, allowing patients to regain that lost tooth permanently and perhaps forever.
When teeth are significantly misaligned, protruding, or have existing bonding, the tooth will need to be reshaped prior to placement of a porcelain facing. Novacaine is traditionally used and the tooth is reshaped, a temporary veneer is made, and the dental laboratory fabricates a beautiful porcelain shell that is bonded to the tooth. These shells can be made of any shade and will be comfortable and esthetic for many years.
One of the most rewarding and exciting new procedures in the dental field today is the system for making loose dentures tight again. Mini dental implants are providing the hopeless denture patient as well as the non-hopeless denture patient with stability and the ability to enjoy food and life without the annoying slipping dentures. In as little as 1 hour, 4 dental implants can be placed and your current dentures can be fitted over the implants. The patient leaves the office with a stable denture which can be used IMMEDIATELY. Unlike conventional implants, they can be used immediately. And just as important, the fee for mini-implants is a fraction of the cost of conventional implants. In addition, placement of these implants results in little to no post-operative discomfort. Many patients who were not candidates for conventional implants because they didn’t have enough bone or because of finances are mini-implant candidates.

Analgesics, such as Novocain or xylocaine allow most patients to experience painless dentistry. “Sedation Dentistry,” conscious or oral sedation starts by simply swallowing a pill. Although you are conscious, you may remember little to none of the procedure itself. You’ll recover in a little while, but you should have a driver to bring you home after your appointment. We are also fully trained and certified in IV Sedation. An intravenous line is inserted into your arm to provide the maximum safe level of sedative necessary to make you totally unaware of your procedure. We have a group of anesthesiologists who will preform more extensive sedation for complex cases. Digital x-rays are computer-generated images that we use to see your teeth & surrounding structures. By way of a small electronic sensor, an image is taken of the desired area and then instantaneously transmitted into the patient’s digital chart. Unlike traditional x-rays that must be developed in solution and emit a higher percentage of radiation, digital x-rays are quick, convenient, and safe on the body.
